The City Rail Link (CRL) is a rail project currently under construction. It involves the building of a 3.45 km long tunnel underneath Auckland's city centre, between Britomart and Mt Eden stations.

SH1 and SH18 upgrades will provide more reliable journey times for the movement of people and goods around the North Shore and Auckland while an improved public transport network with more shared path connections will help locals have greater choice for how they travel around their community.

Construction of a new bridge over the Waikato River and surrounding transport network is under way. The network will be a key connection into Peacocke from Hillcrest and the eastern suburbs.
